Finding a job in Africa: country-by-country guides
Every African labour market has its own figures, rules and channels. These guides bring together, country by country, the official indicators, the public employment agency and the job sites worth checking.
Why a guide for each country
Minimum wages, labour law, the weight of informal work and recruitment channels vary widely between countries. A candidate targeting Morocco, Senegal or Kenya will not use the same agencies or platforms.
How to use these pages
Each guide sets out the latest available figures, the sectors that are hiring, the national employment agency and selected job sites. Always check a vacancy directly with the employer and never pay money to get a job.
